IndexPulse docs
IndexPulse is a hosted Model Context Protocol server. Your AI assistant calls its tools to read Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console and to submit URLs with IndexNow.
Server URL
https://indexpulse.puzaricloud.in/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP (stateless). Authentication: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (dynamic client registration and client ID metadata documents supported), or Authorization: Bearer ipk_… with an API key from your dashboard.
Setup
- Create an account and connect Bing Webmaster Tools with an API key (Bing Webmaster Tools → Settings → API access → Generate API Key). Connect Google Search Console if your plan includes it.
- Add the server to your AI app:
- Claude (web/desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → Connect → Allow.
- ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → Developer mode → Create → paste the URL, authentication OAuth.
- Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http indexpulse https://indexpulse.puzaricloud.in/mcp, then/mcpto sign in. - Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf: add
{"mcpServers": {"indexpulse": {"url": "https://indexpulse.puzaricloud.in/mcp"}}}to the MCP config; the app opens the sign-in page. - Apps without OAuth: add the header
Authorization: Bearer <your ipk_ key>.
- Ask something like “list my sites”, “compare Google and Bing for example.com” or “audit example.com for AI crawlers”.
Tools
list_sites
Sites in the connected Bing Webmaster and Google Search Console accounts, merged by domain, with verification and IndexNow status, plus this month's plan usage.
Arguments: none
search_performance
Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position from Google and/or Bing for top queries or pages over the last N days. Optional text filter.
Arguments:
site*, engine, dimension, days, limit, containstraffic_trend
Daily clicks and impressions from Google and/or Bing over the last N days, with week-over-week change.
Arguments:
site*, engine, daysengine_gap
Compares Google and Bing for the same site: each engine's share of clicks, and the queries or pages that do well on one engine but are weak or missing on the other. Bing also powers ChatGPT search and Copilot answers.
Arguments:
site*, dimension, days, limitstriking_distance
Queries ranking in positions 4-20 with many impressions but few clicks: the quickest wins for a title, content or internal-link update. Uses Google (preferred) or Bing.
Arguments:
site*, engine, days, limitinspect_url
Index status of one URL in Google (URL Inspection: verdict, coverage, last crawl, canonical) and Bing (discovered, last crawled, HTTP status, traffic), plus a live check of its status code, noindex and canonical.
Arguments:
url*, engineindexing_gap
Reads the site's sitemap and checks a sample of its URLs (newest first) in Google and/or Bing, listing pages that are not indexed or never crawled. Uses one URL check per URL per engine.
Arguments:
site*, sitemap, max_urls, offset, enginecrawl_health
Bing crawl statistics (pages crawled, errors, status-code mix, robots-blocked) for recent days and the crawl issues Bing found, grouped by type.
Arguments:
site*, dayssitemaps
Sitemaps known to Google and Bing (submitted, last read, URL counts, errors and warnings) and the ones the site declares in robots.txt.
Arguments:
site*site_audit
Checks what search engines and AI crawlers see: robots.txt rules for Bingbot, Googlebot, OAI-SearchBot, GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot and others; sitemap; home page status, noindex and canonical; IndexNow key; llms.txt; whether the site is verified in Bing and Google. Returns pass/warn/fail items with fixes.
Arguments:
site*backlinks
Pages on the site with inbound links and their counts from Bing, or the linking pages and anchor texts for one URL.
Arguments:
site*, url, pagekeyword_research
Bing search volume (weekly impressions, exact and broad) for a keyword in a country and language.
Arguments:
keyword*, country, languageindexnow_setup
Shows the site's IndexNow key and the file to upload so Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver and Yep accept instant URL submissions, and checks whether the file is live. If the site already serves an IndexNow key (e.g. from a CMS plugin), pass it as existing_key to use it instead. Also shows Bing's URL submission quota.
Arguments:
site*, existing_keysubmit_urls write
Asks search engines to crawl new or changed URLs now: via IndexNow (Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver, Yep; needs the key file) and/or Bing's URL submission API (daily quota). Google has no general submission API; use submit_sitemap for Google. Needs write access.
Arguments:
site*, urls*, viasubmit_sitemap write
Submits (or resubmits) a sitemap URL to Google Search Console and/or Bing Webmaster Tools. Needs write access.
Arguments:
site*, sitemap*, engine* required. Sites can be given as example.com, a URL, or sc-domain:example.com; IndexPulse matches them to your Bing site and Search Console property.
Limits and data freshness
- Google Search Console data lags 2–3 days. URL Inspection allows 2,000 checks per property per day (Google's limit).
- Bing query and page statistics update weekly; daily traffic and crawl statistics update daily.
- Bing URL submission has a daily quota per site (shown by
indexnow_setup). IndexNow accepts up to 10,000 URLs per call. - Monthly tool-call and URL-check allowances depend on your plan.
Security
- Bing API keys and Google refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. OAuth tokens we issue are stored only as hashes; access tokens last one hour, refresh tokens rotate on every use.
- Write tools (
submit_urls,submit_sitemap) need the write permission you grant when connecting. Nothing can delete data in your Bing or Google accounts. - Disconnect an AI app or a search engine on your dashboard at any time.
